Pasovna širina zapornega pasu se nanaša na širino območja zapornega pasu, torej na frekvenčni razpon med visoko in nizko mejno frekvenco. Pasovno zaporni filtri imajo različne stopnje slabljenja, ki se uporabljajo za predstavitev stopnje slabljenja signala v območju zapornega pasu glede na signal v območju prepustnega pasu.
